I am very happy that I am very happy that
you may not be an A-list star hounded by paparazzi and admirers alike, but thanks to a new campaign by Sony Ericsson and SM Malls, your smiles can still command a seven-figure sum.
Launched last week, “Spread the Smiles” aims to collect a million smiles to raise P1 million. The fund will then be donated to United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) to support the organization’s local initiatives for primary education.
Patrick Larraga, marketing manager for Sony Ericsson, said the campaign hopes to attract 1 million smiles before its deadline on June 30.
He said Sony Ericsson will donate P1 for every smile collected in Sony Ericsson “smile booths.” Meanwhile, a P20 donation will give donors a Digiprint photo printout, raffle ticket to win a Sony Ericsson C150 Cyber-shot phone and a spot in the Smile Wall, which will rise in SM City North Edsa Sky Garden Bridgeway.
